Fishing Pier Safety Concerns - Press Release – 4/17/25

 

Due to structural concerns of the concrete block foundation, the Bradford City Water Authority has announced the fishing piers at both Marilla and Luther Reservoirs have been temporarily closed while emergency repairs are being planned. The Authority apologizes for this temporary inconvenience but wants to ensure everyone’s safety.

PLEASE JOIN US AS WE CELEBRATE WITH A DEDICATION AND RIBBON-CUTTING AT THE NEW MARILLA TRAILS LANDING, ACROSS FROM MARILLA RESERVOIR ON MAY 10, 2025

THE EVENT INCLUDES A FISHING TOURNAMENT FROM 8 TO 2. SPONSORED BY ROCKY RIDGE TRADING COMPANY AND WILLOW CREEK SPORTSMAN’S CLUB ALONG WITH A TRAIL HIKE BEGINNING AT 10.

RIBBON-CUTTING WILL BE HELD AT 12.   CONOR BRIEN WILL BE PROVIDING MUSIC FROM 11-2.  

REFRESHMENTS AND FOOD OFFERINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
