Scattered throughout Bradford are trails ideal for frequent recreation and exercise walking. They feature excellent surfaces, easy grades and grand views.
CROOK FARM TRAIL – This trail follows Tuna Creek for 1-1/2 miles then crosses and returns on the other bank
COMMUNITY PARKS TRAIL – This trail is an easy 3.4 mile loop trail that is paved and it makes use of the sidewalks in town to link the city’s parks and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford campus to the Historic District of Bradford.
R.E. McDOWELL TRAIL – This trail is a 1.4 mile point-to-point trail, paved and with gentle grades near the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford campus. With plenty of parking available, the trailhead is along Campus Drive across from the Kessel Athletic Complex. The trail follows the west branch of the Tunungwant Creek and features a stocked trout stream with bridges, benches, and a gazebo..
BLAISDELL-EMERY TRAIL – Using an abandoned railroad grade, the trail goes from South Bradford to the borough of Lewis Run following the East Branch of Tuna Creek.
