Richard E. McDowell Community Trail is a 1.3 mile point-to-point trail, paved and with gentle grades near the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford campus.  With plenty of parking available, the trailhead is along Campus Drive across from the Kessel Athletic Complex.  The trail follows the west branch of the Tunungwant Creek and features a stocked trout stream with bridges, benches, and a gazebo.
