The TVTA is happy to announce the addition of our two newest board members – Patrick Hollenbeck and Kylie Battin!

Patrick is a Bradford native and is an Edward Jones Financial advisor in town.  He is also the current Vice President of RISE (Rising Leaders of Bradford).  Additionally, Patrick is on the finance committee for the United Way of Bradford, and is the assistant swim coach at the Bradford Family YMCA.  Patrick’s hobbies include swimming, golf, tennis, pickleball, jet skiing, and knee boarding.  When asked why he wanted to join the TVTA board, Patrick said “because I see the joy that the trails and the events held by this organization bring to the community members and I wanted to be involved with a group of motivated individuals who provide this positivity and satisfaction to the Bradford Area.”

Next, Kylie Battin is from the tiny, rural borough of Townville, PA where she grew up riding ATVs on the trails of her family’s land.  She now lives in Bradford and enjoys the trails of the TVTA on her feet rather than a machine.  Kylie loves being outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and staying healthy by running and walking. We also asked Kylie why she wanted to join the TVTA board:

“I was introduced to the TVTA in 2018 when I volunteered at the Marilla Trail Race and have been interested ever since.  A board member approached me in the fall of 2020 and asked if I would consider joining the TVTA.  As a new board member, I am looking forward to working with a fantastic group of people who want to continue to bless our community with a well maintained trail system, great recreational opportunities, and promote a healthy lifestyle.  I am especially excited to volunteer and participate in the trail race and regatta! See you on the trails!”

The TVTA is so excited to welcome Patrick and Kylie to the board!  Being a TVTA board member is a great way to further the mission of the Trail Association, and to give back to the Bradford community.  But being on the board isn’t the only way community members can give back!  From memberships, Adopt-A-Trail, memorials, and other volunteer activities, there are numerous ways to contribute to TVTA.  To learn more, visit the “Get Involved” section of our website.
